Daft driving lesson offers

E verybody likes a good deal especially when they are genuine and offer value for money.

However, here are three examples of where 'special offers' on driving lessons are unusual.

Olympic Price increase

The Olympics are set to inspire a generation of future athletes but the impact on driving lessons in Romford has seen in increase in lesson prices.

A local driving school increased the lesson price by as much as £5 per hour to compensate for the busy road network in London and surrounding areas during summer 2012. 

Ability improves at a premium

In Basildon, a national driving school is marketing an attractive 10 driving hours for just £180 which sounds ok but of course there is a catch.

This price is purely aimed at the novice driver because when the pupil's ability grows so does the lesson price.

The alternative option is not to improve your ability but simply pay to continue lessons at a low level.

You could be lucky

Imagine completing a 4.5 hour driving lesson then receiving your change from the driving instructor in the form of a lottery scratch card.

Whilst this could be lucky for the pupil I doubt whether it's normal practice, or is it?
